BMS flays arbitrary termination of employees

JAMMU, July 10: Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) has flayed J&K Cooperative Housing Corporation Ltd Jammu for alleged illegally terminating the services of low paid employees.
In a press conference here today Harbans Choudhary, senior BMS leader demanded that the terminated workers be taken back failing which strong protest demonstration will be held against the Corporation Management and MD of the Corporation will be responsible for that.
He flayed the management particularly MD of Housing Corporation for illegally terminating the services of low paid employees affiliated with Jammu Province Cooperative Housing Corporation Employees Union as they refused to become party in wrong deeds of the management because the Housing Corporation has created a number of housing societies only on papers.
Harbans Choudhary told reporters that the terminated employees alleged that management charged huge money from the plot holders but in fact maximum colonies have no specific plots carved out nor boundary walls of the colonies have been made and even there is no road connectivity, no water connection and electricity infrastructure in those colonies.
The BMS leader also claimed that the Housing Corporation MD was annoyed with the employees and instead of giving increments to them he gave compulsory retirement to the field staff in grave violations of service rules.
He claimed irregularities in allotment of plots and urged the LG and Amit Shah, Union Home Minister and Union Minister of Cooperatives for CBI probe into the matter.
Ashok Choudhary, Sangathan Mantri;, Subash Chander, Ramesh Malhotra, Chuni Lal, Kuldeep Raj and Karnail Chand were also present on the occasion.
