BMS holds dharna at block level, highlights demands

JAMMU, Nov 22: Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh held nation wide dharna/demonstration at block level through Village Level Workers of different Panchayat, today.
Various labour leaders held programmes in R S Pura, Akhnoor, Rajouri, Sunderbani,  Reasi, Udhampur,  Samba, Kathua,  as well as Billawar blocks and districts and raised their demands to implement all welfare schemes properly in the country, basic education to be provided in all Gram Panchayats upto 12th class, for health and medical treatment, doctors and hospitals be provided at Panchayat level, Mandi at Panchayat level for agriculture production and implementation of minimum wages to all Anganwari workers, Asha workers, agriculture labour, midday meal workers, brick kiln workers.
Other demands included social security to Gram Mazdoors, Anganwari workers, pension to all at Rs 3000 PM, gratuity and EPF to all in the country, all poors to provided with BPL cards and uniform rules be framed in the country for proper implementation of the benefits of Building and Construction Act, 1996.
Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh  has sent charter of demands to Prime Minister of India and Chief Minister through Teshildar/Block Development Officers in J&K for its proper and immediate implementations.
Those labour leaders who addressed were Lakshman Ravinder Singh, Karnail Chand, Vijay Chandel, Bushan Sharma, Harbans Choudhary, Kuldeep Kumar, Dev Raj, Kartar Chand, Ashok Choudhary, Darshan Lal, Yash Pal, Swarna Choudhary, Neelam Sharma, Kumari Perino Devi, Veena Devi.
