JAMMU, June 21: The Jammu and Kashmir Government today reconstituted the Board of Directors (BoDs) of the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation Limited (JKTDC).
An order issued in this regard read, “in suppression of all previous orders on the subject and in terms of Article 61(1) & (2) of the Articles of Association of Jammu and Kashmir, Tourism Development Corporation Limited (JKTDC), the Board of Directors of the JKTDC has been reconstituted for a period of two years.”
As per the order, Chief Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir, shall be the chairman of the reconstituted BoDs while as Administrative Secretaries, Industries and Commerce Department; Planning, Development and Monitoring Department; Tourism Department, and MD, J&K Tourism Development Corporation Limited shall be the Directors of the BoDs.
Director Tourism Kashmir and Director Tourism Jammu shall be the special invitees in the reconstituted BoDs.
