SAMBA, Aug 25: The body of a man, who along with one another person got drowned in river Basantar has been fished out from Chak Dayala village, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as Raman Singh, son of Makhan Singh, a resident of Puni Majalta, district Udhampur.
The official said that search operation to fish out the body of another person namely Vijay Kumar is going on.
The body of the deceased has been handed over to family members after completing legal formalities.
A case in this regard stands registered with Samba police station.
