JAMMU, July 8: The body of a youth who had yesterday drowned in Chenab River was today recovered from Pargwal area on city outskirts.
“One Sanjay Kumar, 24, son of Bachan Lal, resident of Rakh Karoon (Garkhal) was drowned in Chenab River Chenab yesterday afternoon and his body could not be recovered,” police here today said.
They said the body of the deceased was recovered this morning from Gura Manhasa in Pargwal and after completing all medico-legal formalities, it was handed over to the family for last rites.
