Srinagar, Feb 22: Police claimed to have recovered a male body in a workshop in Pampore on Friday evening.
A police spokesman said a male body from a mechanic workshop was found at Khankah Bagh in Pampore of Pulwama district.
He was later identified as Baljinder Singh, 50, son of Parsa Singh of Phagwada, Punjab. The deceased was working in the workshop as a mechanic, the spokesman said.
Police has initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of his death.
