KATHUA, Aug 6: A dead body of a male person was found under suspicious circumstances near Hiranagar Railway Station today.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been ascertained. The GRP’s patrolling party alerted the authorities, after which a team of senior officials arrived at the scene and took custody of the body.
The body has been sent to Hiranagar Hospital for post-mortem and an investigation has been initiated. The GRP are examining various aspects to identify the deceased and determine the cause of death.
According to a Railway Police Officer, the deceased was approximately 5′-5″ tall and age between 35 or 40 years. He was wearing a Black Kurta and Black Capri pants.
