BHADARWAH, June 30: Police recovered the dead body of the drowned college student from Neeru river near Galgandhar area of district Doda, here today.
As per police sources, on June 27 this year, a college student identified as Waris Alam (22), son of Sajjad Ahmed, a resident of Bun area of District Doda, was drowned in Neeru river while taking bath.
After hectic efforts, the body was fished out from the Neeru River near Galgandhar area of Doda district today and later shifted to District Hospital Doda.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
Cognizance in this regard stands taken by Bhaderwah Police.
