SRINAGAR, July 30: The body of drowned person was retrieved from Jhelum in Bandipora last evening.
A police spokesperson said that the body of Syed Irfan Ahmad Geelani son of Syed Aashiq Hussain of Safapora, Asham was fished out near Zonopora, Asham. He was drowned in river Jhelum on 28 of this month. The body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
