JAMMU, June 5: Body of drowned youth was recovered from river Chenab near Pargwal area here today.
As per police sources, on May 30 this year, a 24-year-old youth identified as Shubam Sharma, son of Ram Lal of Bakshi Nagar was taking bath in river Chenab in Aghore area when he accidentally slipped and drowned into the river.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and made efforts to fish out the body from the river.
The body was fished out from the river Chenab today near Pargwal.
Pargwal Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
