SRINAGAR, Dec 22: Police today said a body of man who was missing was recovered in Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A police spokesman said the body of Bashir Ahmad Najar was recovered from the forests of Doodpathri in Larnoo village of Kokernag in the district. “He had left his home on December 9 towards Anantnag for some domestic work,” he said, adding: “After completion of medico-legal formalities, the body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.”
The spokesman added that inquest proceedings have been started under section 174CRPC to know the cause of his death.
