Srinagar, Apr 3: Police today said body of a missing man was recovered from River Jhelum in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
A police spokesman said the body was recovered at Sheikh Zoo, which was later identified as of Mohammad Altaf Sofi of Peerbagh here.
“The deceased was missing from March 21 from his home. After completion of legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites,” the spokesman said.
