JAMMU, Aug 13: The 12th academic session of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura started with the screening of Bollywood movies like ‘Chak De! India’ for MBA; ‘3 Idiots’ for B. Tech; ‘Taare Zameen Par’ for B. Ed; ‘Jolly LL.B 2’ for Law; ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ for Nursing students etc.
During the session, teachers screened out the learning shots from these movies and described the importance of team and stress management from ‘Chak De! India’.
They also highlighted the role of teachers and understanding the needs of a student etc from ‘Taare Zameen Par’ while the movie ‘3 Idiots’ was used to explain how to take education as fun perspective and not as a burden and how to fight with fear.
Similarly the movie ‘Jolly LL.B 2’ was used to show that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere and how to fight for truth beyond corruption.
The movie ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ was used to show importance of love, care and respect in treatment of patients.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while speaking said that Aryans has always believed in edutainment and not just education. Students of B. Tech, LEET, LL.B, BA-LL.B, B.Com-LL.B, MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, GNM, ANM, B.Sc (Agri), B.Ed, MA (Edu), Polytechnic Diploma, Diploma in Agriculture, B. Pharma, D. Pharma, BA and others attended the session.
