Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan fondly known as king of hearts turns 52 today

KOLKATA: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan fondly known as the king of hearts who turns 52 today, has been receiving immense love from the audience and has given some path breaking performances in the last 25 years.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today wished Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on his birthday.
“Very happy birthday to you @iamsrk Wish you all health and happiness in future,” Ms Banerjee posted on her social networking page.
The Superstar is known to share a very warm relation with Ms Banerjee. While SRK likes to address her as Didi, the chief minister is known to refer to the Brand ambassador as Bhai (brother).
The actor is the West Bengal’s brand ambassador and turned 52 today.
As the Bollywood’s superstar turns another year older, his family and friends took off to Alibag to bring in his birthday with early celebrations last evening. While many friends and his family were by Shah Rukh Khan’s side for the major part of the day, a few others dropped by later.
The superstar blew out 52 candles on his birthday cake at midnight yesterday but ahead of that it was party time with friends! You say the word ‘party’ and Karan Johar is there… so are Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, the Arora sisters – Malaika and Amrita, Sidharth Malhotra and Farah Khan, all of who feature in jealous-worthy snippets from the guests’ Alibaug diaries.
While the revelries carried on inside, SRK proved he is media’s favourite superstar not without a reason. The birthday boy obliged the gathered paparazzi with pictures as he greeted them along with a few more guests coming in. Several B-town celebrities took to micro-blogging platform Twitter to wish him on the special day Bollywood director Karan Johar in his tweet said, “Happy birthday Bhai @iamsrk !!! So much love always and forever….”
“Happy birthday to the most charming man – @iamsrk . Stay blessed and amazing always,” actress Bipasha Basu tweeted Actress Shraddha Kapoor in her tweet said, “Happy happy birthday @iamsrk !!! Keep being your awesome self! Big big hug and lots and lots of love.” Actress Aliaabhatt tweeted, happy birthday SR.”
Actress katrinakaif in her tweet said, “one of the kindest most intelligent caring people I know ….. happiest happiest to u , may all the love and care you give to others all come back to u .love you.”
Actor Farhan Akhtar? tweeted, ” Happy birthday @iamsrk .. love, light, peace .. & thank you for a cracking evening.. shine on!!” “Happiest birthday to my handsome friend @iamsrk .. lov u always,” director and choreographer Farah Khan said.
Bengali actor Jeet in his tweet said, “Keep spreading your magic king khan .. loads and loads of wishes @iamsrk.” Actress Dia Mirza? in her tweet said,”A very happy birthday to one of the most charming, caring, considerate people in the world @iamsrk! #NoOneLikeYou #HappyBirthdaySRK.”
Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar posted a picture of himself with SRK on Twitter and wrote: “Not just a beloved actor, but a good natured person with a big heart.” Ace tennis player Sania Mirza in her tweet said, “Happy happy birthday @iamsrk love , luck and best always.” Shah Rukh Khan also known as SRK , born on November 2, 1965 has appeared in more than 80 Bollywood films, and earned numerous accolades, including 14 Filmfare Awards.
