NEW DELHI, June 21: Book ‘Habba Khatoon’ was released by Sanjana Prakashan, New Delhi at Mandi House.
The book has been penned down by daughter of the soil Kajal Suri. Habba Khatoon was a renowned poetess of Kashmir.
Kajal has done a marvellous creative work by publishing a play on her in a book shape.
The chief guest on the occasion was Arvind Gaur, a well known personality in the field of theatre.
Speaking on the occasion Gaur remarked that writing a play on a historical character is really a very bold job.
A handout stated that Kajal has maintained interest in her words without disturbing historical facts.
She is presently working as programming executive at All India Radio, New Delhi and is doing excellent work in the field of art and culture.
Famous theatre personality Sidharth Bhardwaj, Shobhna and others were also present on the occasion.
