Book talk held at MIER College of Education

JAMMU, Nov 18: The Library Committee of MIER College of Education organized a book talk for Semester III students of UG and PG Departments.
The purpose of the book talk was to inculcate reading habits among the students and to provide important information regarding the books available in specific subjects.
Suneel Bhat, Chief Librarian MIER College, and Sahiba Sharma, M Ed Semester III student, emphasized that teacher trainees must inculcate the habit of extensive reading.
The faculty members of both the departments shared their views about various books available in the library that could help the students in finding content and also for reference reading.
Dr Mool Raj Sharma, HoD PG Department, highlighted the online and offline resources which students could use in searching for the content in their respective subjects and asked them to develop a habit of reading. Dr Rohnika Sharma, HoDUG Department, urged the students to make the best use of the library resources in addition to online resources.
Eesha Sharma, Librarian PG. Department explained how students can search for a book in the library or look for content in an e-book.
