JAMMU, Oct 23: A booklet on life and works of Kashyap Bandhu – the social reformer, journalist and freedom fighter of Kashmir was released by a galaxy of leaders of Kashmiri Sewak Samaj, Faridabad on the auspicious occasion of Maha Navmi today.
Edited by Padam Dr K. N. Pandit, booklet delves in depth on childhood, youth, political and social life of Bandhu Ji which he was popularly known as.
His active role in Arya Samaj, Lahore, journey of Tarachand to Kashyap Bandhu, his pen name as Bulbul… all this is vividly described in the booklet.
The booklet, perhaps a first of its kind, should go in a long way, providing enough material to our community children to compete in the ongoing 3rd Essay Contest – 2024.
So far community has received the booklet very well and appreciated the hard efforts put in by Team Essay and Jiger NGO.
