JAMMU, Mar 17: BJP Senior leader and JMC Councilor, Ward No 41, Sanjay Kumar Baru along with BJP Shakti kendra, Pramukh Ashok Wazir and booth president, Sudhanshu Bhardhwaj organized a meeting of Booth 42 near here, today at Priyadarshini Lane in Ward 41, which was chaired by BJP leader and Booth Abhiyan Incharge for the Ward Parmod Kapahi.
Addressing the meeting, Sanjay Baru said that recent victory in four states shows that Bharatiya Janata Party double engine governments are doing well to the expectation of peoples but for further strengthening the party and to win the upcoming Assembly elections in JK-UT, Booth Committees will have to play an important role in bringing the public welfare schemes of Narendra Modi led Union Government to grassroot level.
He said that the BJP Booth Committee members are the main mediator between the Government and masses for smoother implementation of these welfare schemes like Ayushman, e-Shram, Widow Pension, PM Awas Yojna, Domicile Certificates etc.
Parmod Kapahi instructed the ground party activists to reach up to every deserving person and recognize any deficits in ensuring the implementation of these schemes at grass root level. He said that with the implementation of these schemes not only the people will be benefited but the party will also be strengthened at the basic level. He prompted the party activists to formulate a strategy to reach up to ground level to cover all the needy population.
District secretary Brijesh Gupta also spoke on the occasion.
Booth president, Sudhanshu Bhardhwaj presented the vote of thanks, while the proceedings of the meeting were conducted by Ashok Wazir.
