UDHAMPUR, Sept 20: A man was arrested this evening with illicit liquor from Sudhmahadev area.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Mohd Latif (Shunga) son of Mohd Shafi, a resident of Kossar, Tehsil Chenani, was intercepted by police this evening at naka point in Sudhmahadev area.
On personal checking of the man, 39 pouches of Desi Whisky were found from his possession, which was seized by the police.
The arrest was made by Incharge, police post Sudhmahadev, SI Khyati Maan Khajuria under the supervision of SHO Chenani, Inspector Mahesh Sharma under the overall supervision of SSP Udhampur, Suleman Choudhary.
