DODA, Oct 21: Police arrested a bootlegger along with 15 pouches of illicit liquor, a police official said.
The arrested person has been identified as Jagdev Singh, son of Jameet Singh, a resident of Bajarni, tehsil Bhagwah, district Doda.
A case under FIR Number 223/17 under Section 48-F Excise Act has been registered at Doda Police Station and investigation started, he added.
Police team led by SHO Doda Inspector Raghubir Singh made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftkhar Ahmed and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
