JAMMU, Jan 17: Pargwal police arrested a bootlegger and recovered 22 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, during checking, a team from Pargwal Police Post intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 22 pouches of illicit liquor from the possession of the man and arrested him.
The accused has been identified as Ghar Singh, son of Angrez Singh, a resident of Garkhal.
A case under FIR Number 6/18 has been registered at Khour Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Pargwal Police Post ASI Kuldeep Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Pargwal Jeet Singh, SDPO Akhnoor Munish Anand and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
