KAtrA, Mar 1: Foiling another attempt of liquor smuggling to holy town, Police has arrested a bootlegger and seized 40 poly pouches of J&K Excise liquor from his possession.
A Police party, led by SI Vikas Jasrotia, I/C PP Kakryal, laid a special naka at Kakryal and apprehended the accused namely Maatam Singh of Panthal, who was on way towards Katra and had been carrying 40 poly pouches, measuring 250/250 ml each of J&K Excise Liquor.
In this connection, a case FIR under section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Katra.
