Bootlegger held

JAMMU, July 4: Police today arrested a bootlegger along with 42 pouches of excise liquor.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Manwal Police Post laid a naka at Kishanpur and intercepted a person.
During frisking, police recovered 42 pouches of excise liquor from his possession, he said, adding that the bootlegger has been identified as Ragunandan, son of Tej Ram of Jindrah Manwal.
A case under FIR number 95/13 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Manwal Police Post and investigation started.
