Bootlegger held

JAMMU, July 26: Police today arrested a bootlegger and recovered 50 pouches of J&K Excise liquor from his possession.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Satwari Police Station laid a naka near Phalian Mandal and intercepted a person.
During checking, police recovered 50 pouches of J&K Excise liquor from his possession, he said, adding that the bootlegger has been identified as Shamsher Kumar alias Sheri, son of Prem Pal of Top Manhasan.
A case under FIR number 122/13 under Excise Act has been registered at Satwari Police Station and investigation started.
