JAMMU, Mar 12: Akhnoor police arrested a bootlegger along with 40 pouches of illicit liquor.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police team from Akhnoor police station laid a naka at Kodaywala and intercepted a pedestrian namely Om Parkash, son of Thoru Ram of Kodaywala.
During search, police recovered 40 pouches of illicit liquor and arrested the bootlegger.
A case under FIR number 50/14 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Akhnoor police station and investigation started.
