JAMMU, Apr 24: Khour police today arrested a bootlegger and recovered 50 pouches of illicit liquor from Pargwal.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Khour police station laid a naka near tubewell at Pargwal and intercepted a pedestrian namely Karnail Raj, son of Hans Raj of Deora, Pargwal.
During search, police recovered 50 pouches of illicit liquor and arrested the accused.
A case FIR number 23/14 under Section 48-Excise Act has been registered at Khour police station and investigation of the case is going on.
