UDHAMPUR, Nov 2: Police today arrested a bootlegger and recovered 38 pouches of J&K Excise liquor from his possession.
Police spokesman said that, during routine checking, police party from Chenani Police Station intercepted one person namely Rattan Lal, son of Dina Nath of Gourikund, tehsil Chenani.
During checking police recovered 38 pouches of J&K Excise liquor from his possession, which he was carrying for black-marketing.
A case FIR number 115/12 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Chenani and investigation started.
