Bootlegger held

JAMMU, Mar 21: Police arrested a bootlegger along with 72 pouches of illicit liquor from Akalpur area, falling under the jurisdiction of Domana police station.
A police spokesman said that, police party from Police Station Domana laid a naka at Akalpur and intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 72 pouches of illicit liquor and arrested the bootlegger, who has been identified as Kuldeep Singh alias Raju, son of Shamsher Singh of Gho Manhasa.
A case under FIR number 89/15 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Domana and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Domana SI Jai Paul Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sanjay Parihar and SP Rural Rajive Pandey.
