UDHAMPUR, Dec 13: Ramnagar police today arrested a bootlegger and seized 35 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
Acting on reliable information, a police party from Police Station Ramnagar intercepted the accused who was travelling on foot near Bus Stand, Ramnagar. During the thorough search, 35, pouches of illicit liquor were recovered from his possession. . Police seized the illicit liquor and arrested the accused, who was identified as Sarup Singh of village Incha in Ramnagar.
In this connection, a case under section 48A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Ramnagar.
