REASI, Apr 20: One bootlegger was arrested while smuggling 38 pouches of Excise liquor for illegal sale of the same, here today.
The accused Jambal Ram of Sarotekote was arrested from bus stand area when he was about to board a bus. According to police, the accused was a history sheeter and was engaged in distillation of illicit liquor and smuggling of the same, earlier also.
An FIR number 55/2015 under Section 48A Excise Act has been registered in this connection at Police Station Reasi
