REASI, June 19: Police today apprehended a bootlegger and seized 29 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
The accused, identified as Sobha Ram (55), resident of Bakkal, was intercepted by a Police team, headed by SHO Reasi Amod Ashok Nagpure (IPS), when he was smuggling the liquor pouches to his native village for their illegal sale there.
In this connection, a case FIR number 99/2015 under section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Reasi.
