KATRA, Sept 20: Katra Police today arrested a bootlegger and seized 25 poly pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
A Police party, led by SHO Katra, Inspector Kuldeep Krishan under the supervision of SDPO Dr Ashok Sharma and Addl SP Katra Sumir Kotwal, laid a special naka near Railway Chowk Katra and apprehended the accused, namely Naresh Kumar of Kadmal, Katra. 25 poly pouches measuring 250/250 ml each of J&K Excise Liquor were recovered from possession of the accused who was carrying the same for their illegal sale in holy town Katra.
In this connection, case FIR number 153/2015 U/S 48-A Excise Act and 188/RPC has been registered at Police Station Katra.
