JAMMU, Nov 15: Police in Jammu’s Bishnah area claimed today they have arrested one individual and seized from his possession over 350 bottles of illicit liquor.
A police official said that one Deepak Singh of Sarore Bishnah, Jammu, was arrested with 330 bottles of JK Desi Whisky (180 ml each) and 24 bottles of beer (500 ml each) by a team of Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Bishnah Insp. Sushil Choudhary under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura and SP Headquarters.
According to him, the accused has been booked in case FIR number 191/2024 under section 48(a) of the Excise Act registered at Police Station Bishnah and further investigation started.
