JAMMU, Dec 14: Police in Jammu’s border Sandwan area claimed to have arrested a bootlegger and recovered 40 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession.
Daulat Ram of Makwal Jammu was arrested with the consignment by a team of Border Police Post (BPP) Sandwan led by Incharge BPP concerned, said a police official.
According to him, the accused has been booked in case FIR number 191/2024 under section 48(f) of the Excise Act registered at Police Station Domana and further investigation taken up.
