JAMMU, Apr 6: An alleged bootlegger was arrested with 53 quarters of illicit liquor in RS Pura area here today.
During patrolling at Chakrohi Morh area near Ditch, one Rajinder Kumar alias Gandu of Ward number 11, RS Pura area was arrested with 53 quarters of 180 ml liquor, a police official said.
He was accordingly booked in case FIR number 64/2025 under section 48(a) of the Excise Act registered at Police Station RS Pura and further investigation taken up, the police official added.
