JAMMU, Mar 3: A bootlegger along with illicit liquor was recovered today by Police Post Panjtirthi.
“During naka duty in Panjtirthi area, a team of police post Panjtirthi intercepted a pedestrian on the basis of suspicion and during search of his belongings, 41 bottles of illicit liquor (of 250 ml each of JK Special Whiskey) were recovered,” a police spokesperson said.
He said the accused identified as Rinku Sharma son of Tara Manni, resident of Bajalta (Jammu) was arrested the recovered illicit liquor seized. In this connection, Police Post Panjtirthi had taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigation.
The arrest and recovery was made by a police team led by SHO Police Station Pacca Danga Inspector Raghubir Singh. He was assisted by Incharge Police Post Panjtirthi SI Rahul Sharma.
