JAMMU, June 30: Police here claimed to have arrested a bootlegger and recovered 29 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession.
A police spokesperson said that a team of Police Post Pounichak Jammu, during patrolling duty at Borh Drank Area, received information regarding one person selling illicit liquor in the area.
On this, the police team raided the suspected location and arrested the accused Tarsem Lal with 29 bottles of illicit liquor, he said.
“The accused has been booked under relevant sections of the law,” he further said, adding that further investigation is underway.
