KISHTWAR, Jan 6: Police here today arrested a notorious bootlegger and recovered 39 bottles of JK Desi Whiskey from his possession.
Cops from Police Station Kishtwar led by Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday during routine patrolling and checking arrested the bootlegger Tariq Hussain, son of Mohd Abas, resident of Link Road Kishtwar with illicit liquor.
In this regard a case in FIR number 09/2024 U/Sec 48(a) Excise Act was registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
