JAMMU, Oct 24: RS Pura police today arrested a bootlegger and recovered 55 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
A police spokesman said that, during naka duty at bus stand, RS Pura, police intercepted a pedestrian namely Bodh Raj, son of Vakeel Chand of Sai Nikowal, RS Pura.
During checking, police recovered 55 pouches of illicit liquor and arrested the bootlegger, he added.
A case under FIR number 193/13 and under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station RS Pura and investigation started.
