JAMMU, Apr 4: An alleged bootlegger was arrested with illicit liquor in RS Pura area here today.
Mastan Singh alias Ghara of Kadyal, RS Pura, was arrested with 52 bottles of JK Desi Whisky by a party of Border Police Post Badyal Brahamana during routine patrolling duty in their jurisdiction, a police official said.
He was accordingly booked in case FIR number 61/2025 under section 48(a) of the Excise Act registered at Police Station RS Pura and further investigation taken up.
