Bootlegger held with liquor

JAMMU, May 30: Police arrested a bootlegger and seized large quantity of illicit excise liquor from his possession.
Police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Domana police station laid a naka near Akalpur Chowk and intercepted a person.
During frisking, police recovered 137 pouches of excise liquor from his possession, he said, adding that the bootlegger has been identified as Paramjeet Singh, son of Tara Singh of Gho-Manhasa.
A case under Excise Act has been registered at Domana police station and investigation started.
Police party led by SHO Arvind Samyal made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sandeep Mehta.
