BOPEE conducts entrance test for Patwar Trainees

JAMMU, July 15: J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) conducted the Common Entrance Test-2012 for selection of Patwar Trainees for the first time in the State.
According to chairman, BOPEE, Prof Dr Mustaq Ahmad Peer, a total of 12000 candidates from Kashmir division and 6000 candidates from Jammu division appeared in the test.
The examination was conducted at 14 centres in Srinagar and seven centers in Jammu, he said, adding the State Government and the Crime Branch had deputed the observers for the entrance test.
Senior professors from Kashmir University and College Principals were deputed as the monitoring squad for the test.
The question paper was bilingual (in English and Urdu). It was comprised of 100 questions, 40 from mathematics, 30 from Urdu and 30 from General Knowledge.
The examination was conducted smoothly.
