JAMMU, July 12: Senior leader of National Conference and former Minister Ajay Sadhotra has asked the Governor administration to distribute the posts of constables in Border Battalions block-wise instead of district-wise so that youth of Border blocks may not have feeling of discrimination.
While talking to youth of Marh and Mandal Border blocks, the National Conference leader demanded that in order to still confidence among youth of Border, Governor administration should do on spot recruitment instead of regular routine recruitment process. The youth were not satisfied with the recruitment of SPOs as there seems to be discrimination among Border Blocks, he added.
Sadhotra emphasized the need of telling the youth of the Border that their share of Constable posts in their Blocks and on spot recruitment will avoid any sense of discrimination.
The NC leader appealed the Governor to intervene personally to ensure that posts are equally divided among border blocks in the District and recruitment is done on the spot.
