RAJOURI, Oct 31: The aspirants from Rajouri and Poonch area who have cleared ground test today urged upon the higher authorities in the J&K Police Department to conduct written test and complete the recruitment process as early as possible.
The aspirants who approached `Excelsior’ today revealed that they have qualified the ground test of J&K Police Border Battalion male/female in March, 2020. The pointed out that the process of recruitment was infact, initially started in Sept, 2019.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic the process of ground test was suspended on March 11, 2019 which was completed later. But it is unfortunate that hundreds of boys and girls from border belt of Jammu region are eagerly waiting for conduct of written test for the same. The concerned authorities have failed to initiate further process of recruitment till today.
They said many youth are going to be over aged. They are getting frustrated due to unnecessary delay on the part of people at the helm of affairs. They urged upon the Director General of Police and J&K UT Home Department to intervene into the matter and get the process of recruitment of Border Battalion expedited in border area of Rajouri-Poonch-Jammu-Samba and Kathua.
