JAMMU, July 4: A deputation of Employees Association, J&K State Board of School Education (JKBOSE), Jammu Division, headed by association president, Rajesh Choudhary, today met Minister of State (MoS) for Education, Priya Sethi, and discussed various unattended long pending issues of the employees and day-to-day problems being faced by the student community.
The deputation apprised the Minister that two important posts of Chairman and Secretary in BOSE are lying vacant since long due to which the official work is being affected.
It was also apprised to the Minister that the long pending demands of the employees like departmental promotion of the employees, implementation of transparent transfer policy, regularization of daily wagers, implementation of new promotion and recruitment policy and recovery of approximate amount of Rs 30 crore on supply of test books, which is pending with the education Department for last many years.
The deputation urged the Minister to immediately fill the posts of Chairman and Secretary for the smooth functioning of the office. The deputation also demanded that the officers who have completed deputation period in JKBOSE be immediately repatriated.
The Minister gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured that their demands will be addressed within a shortest possible time.
