SRINAGAR, Sept 23: The State Board of School Education (BOSE) today issued the formal date sheet for the conduct of class 10th and 12th annual examination of Kashmir division, excluding district Kargil.
As per the notification issued by BOSE in this regard, the annual examination for Class 10th will begin on November 15 and conclude on November 28 while for Class 12th the examination will begin on November 14 and conclude on December 3.
Pertinently, the BOSE had deferred the conduct of these examinations by almost 45 days keeping in view the prevailing situation in Kashmir. As per the earlier schedule these examinations were to be conducted in the first week of October.
“We have to complete the process of conduct of examination and declaration of results by the end of this year so that the students are well prepared to appear in competitive examinations like CET, NEET, JEE etc next academic session,” an official of the State’s Education Department said.
