BOSE urged to keep in abeyance order on deaffiliation of schools

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, July 19: Private Schools Association has expressed its serious concern over deaffiliation of 41 schools by the J&K Board of School Education in the mid session.
A meeting of the Association was held under the chairmanship of Kamal Gupta for discussing the issue of deaffiliation, which is bound to affect the career and studies of the students in these schools.
As registration process of Class 8th and 9th has been completed, it is not possible for the students to change the school and the same would adversely affect their studies besides causing financial burden on their parents, the meet observed and appealed the BOSE authorities to withdraw its deaffiliation order and provide some time to these schools for improving their infrastructure.
