Srinagar Dec 31: The compound wall of Hizbul Mujahideen Commander Saifullah Khalid alias Gulam Nabi Khan’s residence was demolished by the authorities in Anantnag today.
Saifullah Khalid, who is operating from Pakistan, has been declared a designated terrorist by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

As per reports, the authorities are preparing a list of all such encroachment on government owned lands by the anti-national forces. The authorities have also registered an FIR against the Hizbul Mujahideen commander for encroaching government land. The local panchayat body had earlier taken cognizance of such encroachment and asked the authorities for removal of the same.
Earlier this month, the house of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) militant commander Ashiq Nengroo was demolished by the authorities in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
