REASI, Nov 30: Police today arrested a bovine smuggler and rescued nine animals from his possession when the accused was taking them to Kashmir valley.
A specific information was received at Police Station Mahore that some persons were smuggling bovine animals to Kashmir valley from Angralla Tuksan via Buzraa Pathri. On this, a Police team from Police Station Mahore and SPP Ladh, laid a naka at Shadole Nallah and rescued bovine animals from possession of the accused person.
Police arrested the accused person, identified as Shamas Din of Shadole, tehsil Mahore and register a case in this connection.
