Bovine smugglers arrested

BHADERWAH, May 2: Police arrested two bovine smugglers and rescued one cattle from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bhaderwah police station laid a naka at Thanthera and intercepted two persons carrying a bovine animal.
The persons failed to give satisfactory reply and were arrested by the police. The bovine animal has been rescued from their clutches.
The accused have been identified as Imtiaz Ahmed, son of Ghulam Mohammad Wani and Irshad Ahmed, son of Ghulam Nabi Wani, both residents of Nalthi, Bhaderwah.
A case under FIR Number 52/17 under Section 188 RPC has been registered at Bhaderwah police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Jatinder Sambyal made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
